Mary
Raised on a Holstein dairy farm in upstate New York by an Irish mother who believed the kitchen was the heart of the home, I learned early that the freshest, in-season ingredients tell the best stories. That foundation led me to found SEEAG (Students for Eco-Education & Agriculture), connecting thousands of students and families to the people and places who grow their food. I also launched Ventura County Farm Day and Santa Barbara County Farm Day, opening the gates of local farms to celebrate agriculture and community. Today, through my Pop-Up Farm Picnics, I carry on my family’s traditions by showcasing the freshest locally grown, seasonal produce in beautifully curated on-farm experiences.
